Yet, O Lord, you are our Father;
we are the clay, and you the potter;
we are all the work of your hands. –Isaiah 64:7
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process in which a person who is not baptized or baptized in another faith denomination journeys with others like them and other Catholics to be fully initiated into the Catholic Faith. It is a process of formation.
There are four steps in this formation process which culminates at the Easter Vigil with the celebration of the three Sacraments of Initiation, Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist. The parish community, through its prayers, witness, worship, service, and catechesis, offers the invitation and support for the men and women to initiate into the Catholic Church.
Weekly meetings are held beginning in September and end shortly after Easter. Sponsorship is always needed and is rewarding.
For more information or to inquire about becoming Catholic, please email our RCIA Director, Deacon Leon Noelker at email@example.com or call the parish office at 636-239-6701.
Father Freddy Devaraj's monthly classes provides lessons and insight into Scripture for parishioners at Saint Francis Borgia. Classes began in January, 2016 and will run through June, 2017. Topics include:
Matthew: The King and His Kingdom is a Catholic Bible Study that brings the history of Christ to life through Matthew’s Gospel. Matthew demonstrates how the promises and prophecies of the Old Testament are fulfilled in Christ, who establishes a New Law and inaugurates the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. Participants will see Jesus as the awaited Messiah who relives the life and struggles of Israel to become the faithful and victorious King. Set in the rich context of Jesus' Jewish culture, this study will help participants understand who Jesus is and what his life and teachings mean for us today. Matthew is an ideal follow-up study to the basic narrative of Scripture taught in The Bible Timeline study.
This Bible Study will run from September, 2016 through March, 2017 and includes a Christmas break. Classes are currently held on Monday evenings and Friday morning.

Using a unique color-coded system, they will learn the major people, places, and events of the Bible and see how they all come together to reveal the remarkable story of our faith. The Bible Timeline has been granted the Imprimatur.
