Join us as we bring Jesus through our community
Sunday, June 19, Noon– 2:00 pmThe Washington Corpus Christi Procession will begin at St. Francis Borgia on Sunday, June 19th at noon. We will process prayerfully through the streets of Washington with our Eucharistic Lord. It will be a 1.5 mile, 2 hour walk, with a meeting point at Mercy Physician’s Building parking lot for those who can’t walk the whole time. We will end our procession at Lourdes with Benediction at 2:00 PM. Participants will be responsible for arranging a ride back to Borgia from Lourdes.
I can process from the beginning:- 1 ½ mile, 1 ½ hour walk.
- Meet at St. Francis Borgia Courtyard at 12:00 PM.
- We will end with Benediction at Our Lady of Lourdes, so please arrange for a ride back to Borgia after Benediction.
- ½ mile, 30 minute walk.
- Meet at Mercy Clinic Building Parking Lot (3rd Street and Hancock) at 12:50 PM. Wait in the parking lot for the procession to arrive. We will end with Benediction at Our Lady of Lourdes, so please arrange for a ride back to this lot after Benediction.
- Meet at Lourdes at 1:30 pm.
- Line the entrances of the Lourdes parking lot to greet our Eucharistic Lord upon His arrival.
