The Washington Corpus Christi Procession will begin at St. Francis Borgia on Sunday, June 6th at 4:30 PM. We will process prayerfully through the streets of Washington with our Eucharistic Lord. It will be a 1.5 mile, 2 hour walk, with a meeting point at Mercy Physician’s Building parking lot for those who can’t walk the whole time. We will end our procession at Lourdes with Benediction at 6:30 PM. Participants will be responsible for arranging a ride back to Borgia from Lourdes.
I can process from the beginning:
1 ½ mile, 1 ½ hour walk.
Meet at St. Francis Borgia Church at 4:30 PM.
We will end with Benediction at Our Lady of Lourdes, so please arrange for a ride back to Borgia after Benediction.
I can process from the meeting point:
½ mile, 30 minute walk.
Meet at Mercy Clinic Building Parking Lot (3rd Street and Hancock) at 5:20 PM. Wait in the parking lot for the procession to arrive.
We will end with Benediction at Our Lady of Lourdes, so please arrange for a ride back to this lot after Benediction.
I can’t participate in the procession:
Meet at Lourdes at 6 PM.
Line the entrances of the Lourdes parking lot to greet our Eucharistic Lord upon His arrival. Join us for Benediction in the parking lot.
