Father Maassen's Message - 06/16/24 - Saint Francis Borgia

Dear Fellow Missionary Disciples,

What a beautiful thing! The other day I saw a father with his teenage daughter on the athletic fields, I was supposed to be praying at the time. There he was helping, possibly teaching his daughter about some aspects of soccer.

I just wondered if he was spending that time with his daughter regarding Christ and the Catholic faith? Was he teaching her to love God and her neighbor? Was he raising her to live her faith? These things are the most important! Parents are the primary educators of their children in the faith.

What a beautiful thing! Of course a father teaching his daughter. What a beautiful thing!
