In Matthew 25. Jesus talks about judging the Nations. Let me quote some of this chapter . "Then the King will say to those at his right hand, Come O blessed of my Father , inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world, for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink , I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me...Truly I say to you as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me."
I find this to be a very challenging Gospel, yet infinitely important, as we live out the command to love our neighbor.
On Saturday night after the 4:30 pm Mass we will host a concert in the courtyard to benefit Life's River who’s mission is to show the care and compassion of Christ by equipping unhoused families in Franklin County with the resources they need to permanently exit homelessness. We achieve this by offering families temporary supportive housing in our residential space and surrounding them with the necessary services to regain stability.
As homelessness grows in our community, we believe that with your support, we can make a significant impact. Along with the help and assistance we have received from the Archdiocese of St. Louis. We invite you to join us in our mission by donating, volunteering, or spreading the word about our work. Together, we can provide hope and a brighter future for those in need.
