Happy Catholic Schools Week! You are more than welcome to come by our Grade School Open House this morning from 10:00 until noon to walk through and meet our students, parents, and staff who make up the Borgia Grade School family. Just like our parish, our parish school is like a family. We are so proud of our school and certainly want to thank you for your support of it. We work hard to educate our students and offer them faith formation every day. Come on by today and see for yourself!
If you know of anyone who might consider sending their children to our school, please extend an invitation to them to come to the Open House or have them contact our Principal, Mrs. Linda Pahl, and she will gladly host them for a private tour.
Our school will be celebrating Catholic Schools Week every day this week with a different group honored each day. On Monday we will celebrate Vocations to the Priesthood and Religious Life. On Tuesday we will celebrate our students with a special treat for them. We will celebrate and give thanks for our nation on Wednesday. Thursday is the day we will celebrate the people who serve our community. And on Friday we will celebrate our faculty, staff, and volunteers. It will be a full week, but it’s important to show our appreciation, support, and gratitude for those who make our school what it is! Again, thank you for your support of Borgia Grade School.
This coming Saturday I will have the honor of representing Borgia High School at the NJROTC Military Ball at the KC Hall. The NJROTC program is a wonderful partnership between Borgia High School and Washington High School along with other schools in the area. The students who participate learn great life lessons, discipline, organization, and leadership, among other valuable skills. It’s always a nice evening and it’s a pleasure to support such a good program for our local students.
