Welcome to Divine Mercy Sunday. Join us this afternoon for a prayer service in Church to celebrate God’s unconditional, total, and limitless mercy that He continues to pour out upon us. We will begin in Church at 2:00 pm and end at 3:00 pm. Check out more information in this bulletin.
This morning you are welcome to come over to our Grade School Cafeteria for a delicious breakfast! Great food! Even better company, as we gather together to support our parish activities. Many thanks to Bill and Judy Halmich who are sponsoring today’s breakfast!
Thanks again to our awesome Ladies’ Sodality! The Easter Bazaar that they sponsored was so good! Several of the members were in the kitchen at 3:30 a.m. to keep up the tradition of making the best cinnamon rolls! We had a great crowd! We are all so grateful for the efforts of our Ladies’ Sodality and for all they do to support our Parish.
It strikes me that over the almost 190 years that this parish has existed, so many activities like this have taken place here in the parish. In the 1800’s there were fundraisers and work days to build churches. Over the years, what the specific fundraisers have been has changed, but the spirit of family and the blessings of working together have remained the same. If you would be interested in volunteering for the monthly breakfast from time to time or for other activities, just say the word. Let me or Fr. Tony know or call the office, and we will put you in touch with the right person. We are so blessed here with the generosity of our parish family members who give of their time, talent, and treasure. We could not do it without all of you!
Prom season is happening! This coming Saturday Borgia will host its’ Prom. Washington High School will have Prom on May 6th. Please pray for safety for our students as they enjoy this great tradition. With that there will be a real buzz of end-of- school year activities starting to take place. Let’s pray for a safe and healthy end of this current school year.
Enjoy this Easter Season! May the risen Christ bless you and your loved ones!
