Dear Parishioners,
Breakfast is served this morning! Come on over to our Grade School Cafeteria for a delicious breakfast while enjoying some fantastic company. Thank you to Bill & Judy Halmich for sponsoring this month’s breakfast.
This week we will celebrate Baccalaureate and Graduation for the Seniors at St. Francis Borgia Regional High School. We are very proud of this group and wish them only the best. Please keep them in your prayers this week and let’s remember to pray for all who will be graduating this year.
This weekend we will have the opportunity to support two great causes. After Masses, the Cub Scouts will be selling coupon cards to help raise money for their summer activities, including camps. Also, we will be selling raffle tickets for a year’s tuition at the Grade School as this is our year to host an auction. Our School Auction will be on October 1st, which will be here before we know it! Thanks for your support! We literally could not do what we do around here without your support.
Thank you again for considering a gift to the Annual Catholic Appeal. The ACA helps people all throughout the Archdiocese, regardless of their faith, including locally here in the Washington area. Borgia High School recently received a check for $141,000. Our parish received a grant of $40,000 to help with the air-conditioning project in school a couple of years ago along with other gifts in the past years. On top of these, there are many individuals who receive counseling assistance, help with basic needs, tuition assistance, etc. No matter the size, your gift will be added together with the gifts of people from around the Archdiocese and it will make a difference.
Have a great and blessed week,
Fr. Mike Boehm
