Many thanks to all who joined us for breakfast last Sunday! The food was so delicious and enjoyed by many. I loved walking through and seeing our parishioners and guests enjoying each other’s company. And our volunteers enjoy the work they do to provide a great experience. Thanks to Bill and Judy Halmich for sponsoring this month’s breakfast!
Tomorrow evening, Monday, May 23rd, we will celebrate graduation for our SFBGS 8th Grade Class of ‘22. The kids are excited and it should be a fun evening for them. Keep them in your prayers as they prepare for high school in the fall.
This Wednesday, May 25th, will be the last day of school for Borgia Grade School. We are so grateful to our students, parents, faculty and staff for such a great year. We are blessed by the people who make up our school family. Our school is growing and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for ‘22 - ‘23. Let’s join in prayer for a good and safe summer.
Thank you again for considering a gift to the Annual Catholic Appeal. The ACA helps people all throughout the Archdiocese, regardless of their faith, including locally here in the Washington area. Borgia High School recently received a check for $141,000. Our parish received a grant of $40,000 to help with the air-conditioning project in school a couple of years ago along with other gifts in the past years. On top of these, there are many individuals who receive counseling assistance, help with basic needs, tuition assistance, etc. No matter the size, your gift will be added together with the gifts of people from around the Archdiocese and it will make a difference.
