Father Mike's Message - 11/13/2022

Dear Parishioners,

Thank you for your attentiveness last week as I shared our Stewardship Report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2022.  As I mentioned, to look over that report gives us an opportunity to express our gratitude to God and to our parish family as we are in a good spot! 

One challenge is the slight downward trend of our Sunday collections, which I am confident we will work together to reverse in order to help keep our parish financially strong.  Please also continue to pray about where God might be calling you to increase your parish participation.  As we know, all of this begins with prayer, so I encourage all of us to spend a bit more time in prayer and reflection so we can grow in relationship with God as individuals and as a parish family.
 
Some upcoming events to note:

• November 16 - Advent Family Night
• November 22 - at 7:00 p.m. we will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation with Cardinal Timothy Dolan
• November 24 - Thanksgiving Day - Masses at 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
• November 26/27 - First Sunday of Advent
• December 1 - First Reconciliation
• December 4 - Advent by Candlelight
