Congratulations to our 2nd grade students who celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation this past Thursday! They did a great job. What a treat for us priests to be a part of that!
As we move closer to Christmas, we have lots of events happening around here to help us prepare. Tonight is our Advent by Candlelight program for the women of our parish. This is always a special evening to help people prepare for Christmas.
On Wednesday, December 14th, OLL and SFB Parishes are sponsoring Advent by Taillight for the men of our parishes. The evening begins at 7:30 p.m. and will take place on the lot at the KC Hall. Dress for the weather and bring your fire pit (if you can) and whatever you like to drink (or you can purchase drinks from the KC lounge). More information on this on our website here.
On Tuesday, December 20th we will host our Combined Parish Penance Service with Lourdes. Priests will be available here at St. Francis Borgia Church after our 6:30 p.m. Mass. Another great way to help us prepare for Christmas.
Don’t forget our Grade School Christmas raffle. Tickets are available from any school family or call the parish or school office. You can also find a link to purchase them here: https://bit.ly/PayIt_2022CmasCashRaffle. The final drawing will be on December 20th.
Our Ladies Sodality is hosting their Holiday Breakfast and Bazaar today from 7:30 - 11:00 a.m. in the Grade School cafeteria. Come on over and support the great work of our Ladies Sodality!
We once again will have the opportunity to help those who are less fortunate through our Advent Giving Tree. The tree will be located in the main entry of Jesuit Hall and there’s one near the Children’s Chapel (Cry Room). Please take an ornament, purchase the gift, and return it unwrapped to Jesuit Hall by December 11. What a beautiful way to help make someone’s Christmas a little brighter this year!
