Happy Mother’s Day! We are blessed by the love we have received from our Mothers! In their love for us, they are a reflection of the love God gives to us. Moms, we are grateful for your vocation of love and we pray with and for you. Today, in gratitude and in prayer, we remember all Mothers, living and deceased, who have sacrificed and loved us so much. Have a blessed Mother’s Day!
Last weekend, Fr. Tony and I had the chance to attend the Ordination of three Transitional Deacons at the Cathedral. These men will be ordained next year for service as Priests. Please pray for newly ordained Deacons Robert Lawson, Joe Martin, and Jeff Fennewald as they prepare to begin their ministry as Deacons.
Congratulations to our Borgia High School Seniors as they graduate this Thursday evening. I hope they know the love and support this community has for them. Pray for them as they end their time at Borgia and move on to the next step in their journey.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the Rummage Sale on June 2nd and 3rd! Clean those closets and check those storage spaces for things that others could use. More information in the bulletin on page 9 and volunteer opportunities to help set up and the day of the sale. For more information contact Jeanne Hoelscher at 636-359-0236 or the parish office at 636-239-6701.
Have a wonderful day as we remember and thank God for the gift of our Mothers.
