Roe v Wade Anniversary

Today, January 22, is the forty-fourth anniversary of Roe vs Wade when the decision was made to legalize abortion in the United States. Every year since then, people across the nation travel to Washington, DC to protest this decision. It is our belief that life starts at moment of conception and not at birth. Our national media gives this protest very little attention. 

Grateful For Her Mother's Choice

I know that people have objections concerning situations of rape or other violent acts by which a woman becomes 
pregnant. In a former parish where I was stationed, there was a woman that was a product of rape, and her mother carried the pregnancy to full term and gave birth for her. She was personally grateful that her mother chose to give her baby life and that she had not had an abortion.  

Our Students Travel to March for Life this Week

Our youth from our school and parish will be traveling this week, leaving Wednesday for the March for Life held this coming Friday. Let us pray for them and support them on their journey. May their journey for them be a life-changing experience and deepen their own conviction concerning Pro-Life.

Respect for Life in All Stages

Pro-Life is not only about abortion, but about respect for all life, from the moment of conception to natural death. We should have this respectful attitude toward all people in all stages of life, particularly when they have been given challenges difficult to endure. This also includes the death penalty. Our belief is that ultimately God is the only one to choose to end a human life.
