School is back in session and so far the semester is off to a great start. We are so blessed with a fine faculty, staff, and student body. Of course we couldn’t operate the school without your generous support, so we are very grateful for you and your prayers for our school community.
Our Parish Breakfast will start again next week! Come one, come all next Sunday morning. I hope to see you there! If you would like to volunteer or take a shift, please contact Dominic Gildehaus at 314-402-2490 or [email protected]
Today we celebrate the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord which begins the public ministry of Jesus. This Feast marks the end of the liturgical season of Christmas. Let’s pray that we can embrace the mission Jesus entrusts to us as He calls us to share in His mission of love and mercy.
As we are ending the Christmas season, we will be taking down our Christmas decorations in church tomorrow (Monday), January 10th beginning at 3:00 p.m. If you have a bit of time you could share to help, we’d be grateful.
It seems as if we are experiencing a time where viruses of different types are spreading. As a reminder, if you are sick or experiencing any symptoms of Covid, please consider participating in Mass via our livestream from home. There is never an obligation to attend Church if you are sick. Thanks for doing what we can to keep others safe and healthy.
Have you seen our beautiful new Offertory Table in Church? It was hand made by our very own parishioner, Gerald Tallman. Gerald and his wife, Connie, donated the inlaid wood of different types and handcrafted the table! Wow! If you haven’t seen it, take a look. Another example of Stewardship in action here at St. Francis Borgia! We are blessed!
Have a great week! Thanks for all you do to support our Parish Family.
