We hope this letter finds you well and that you know of our thanks for all the many ways that you support our parish.
We are writing to let you know some information about our Fall Festival for this year. It has been difficult, to say the least, to plan for this event that means so much to all of us. We have discussed and considered many possibilities for carrying on the Festival as this is such an important event for our parish. While we as a community continue to deal with the challenges related to Covid-19, we know that we must do our part to help ensure the priorities of everyone’s safety and well-being.
As a result, our planning committee, in consultation with our parish leadership, has decided to forego a traditional Parish Festival for this year. We look forward to next year when we can hopefully gather together in person for the awesome food, fun and socializing that have made our Parish Festival such an awesome event for St. Francis Borgia Parish and the community.
For this year, we are sponsoring a Fall Festival Raffle in order to help raise some much needed funds for our parish along with giving us another opportunity to work together toward a common goal of strengthening us as a parish family. We invite you to participate and invite your family members, friends and neighbors to participate as well. Raffle tickets are being mailed to each active parishioner and can also be purchased at the parish office and online. They will be $50 per ticket. Prizes include first place $5000, second place $2500 and third place $1000. We will hold an early bird drawing of $500 on Sunday, August 30th. The early bird winner will be placed back into the contest for the final prizes to be drawn on Sunday, September 13th.
We thank you in advance for your support of this year’s Fall Festival Raffle. We thank you again for your extraordinary support of St. Francis Borgia Parish. Our Parish Family will make it through this together as we walk together in faith and with the Lord’s guidance.
Be assured of our prayers for you and your loved ones. St. Francis Borgia, pray for us!
