Fr. Mike's Message - 10/02/2022

Dear Parishioners,

This is our Parish Auction Weekend! So many thanks are in order! I’d like to start with thanking Phil & Jill Rosloniec and Matt & Melinda Becker for chairing this year’s auction. They and their team of volunteers have put in lots of hours of hard work to make this event happen. We are so grateful. Thanks to our Parish maintenance and office staff, to our school faculty and staff, to our volunteers who help with set up, clean up, office duties, etc., etc.  And thank you to all who have supported the auction by your participation, presence, sponsorship, or in some other way. We are indeed blessed!!

As a reminder, our Parish Listening Sessions for the All Things New strategic planning initiative will be on October 10 & 12 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the ballroom in Jesuit Hall. Registration is required. Please register for one of the nights. See information about registration here or call the Parish Office for assistance.

Fr. Tony and I will be away this week for our Priests’ Convocation. Every 4 years the priests of the Archdiocese gather for our Convocation. We will gather at Tan-Tar-A at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Our theme this year is “Cultivating Unity.” With the All Things New strategic planning initiative in full force, it is more important than ever that the priests are unified and supportive of one another. While there we will listen to presentations, participate in group discussion, and enjoy each other’s company. Please pray for us this week. We will be away until Friday afternoon. Our Deacons will host Communion Services at the times when we usually celebrate Mass. (We will have Mass on Monday morning at 7:00.)
