Dear Parishioners,

Here we are with less than a week to go until Christmas! I hope you enjoy this last week of Advent and that you have a wonderful and Blessed Christmas. We welcome our college students and others who will be with us for our Christmas Masses. We pray that your time with family and loved ones will be enjoyable and refreshing. Please note our Christmas Mass schedule below and we look forward to celebrating our Lord’s birth with you!

Tomorrow (Monday, Dec. 20th) we will be decorating the Church for Christmas. If you can make it, we will start at 3:00 p.m. Just show up and we can put you to work. Nothing too heavy. Thanks for your consideration.

Thanks to all who participated in our Christmas Outreach through the Advent Giving Tree. We had wonderful participation and brightened Christmas for many people. Thank you for blessing the lives of those who need help.

This past week we were blessed by our SFBGS students with a Regional Band Christmas Concert and a Christmas vocal concert. As always, our Borgia kids did us proud with wonderful performances to help all of us get in the mood for Christmas! We are so proud of them and thankful to our teachers who helped get them ready for these events.

Did you know that Scrips are now being sold after the Saturday evening and Sunday morning Masses?! Stop by the Scrips sales location in the entry area on the middle floor of Jesuit Hall. Great for last minute gift ideas and for those everyday household purchases. Every sale of our Scrips helps with tuition assistance and our school, so it’s a win-win! Many thanks to Missy Frankenberg for organizing this and giving of her time to make Scrips available. She could use some help so please consider volunteering for this. Feel free to contact Missy in our parish office for more information.

Here’s our Christmas Mass schedule. Please take note of the Mass times as we have readjusted Christmas Eve Mass times this year. Our Mass times will be as follows:

Christmas Eve at 4:00, 6:00, and 10:00 p.m.
Christmas Day at 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. (Note: even though Christmas is on a Saturday, there will be no 4:30 p.m. Mass that day.)
Sunday, December 26th (Feast of the Holy Family), we will celebrate Masses at the normal times of 7:00, 9:00, and 11:00 a.m. (No 6:00 p.m. Mass on the 26th.)
Saturday, January 1st (Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God). This is not a Holy Day of Obligation this year, but we will have Mass at 8:00 a.m. (There will be no confessions after 8:00 Mass that day.) Join us at 8:00 to celebrate our Blessed Mother and to welcome the New Year.
