Greetings from the friendly confines of Borgia Rectory! Thank you for your prayers and for your phone calls and messages of support. Fr. Tony and I are grateful beyond words for all you do for us. We are blessed to be part of this great, big supportive family of SFB!
Fr. Tony is recuperating and feeling better with each passing day. I remain symptom free and I’m keeping a close watch on that. We are both in touch with medical professionals who are guiding us.
As a reminder, our weekend Masses will carry on as scheduled this weekend and next weekend as long as we can find a priest to fill in. I’m grateful to Fr. Joe Wormek and Fr. Ken Brown for stepping in to help this weekend on such short notice. On weekdays, we will have Communion Services led by our Deacons. Thanks to Leon Noelker, Dennis Meinert, and Dave Tobben for their help! This schedule of Masses and Communion Services will continue until Fr. Tony and/or I can get back into the game.
Again, I will try to get the word out as quickly as possible as things develop. As they say, stay tuned...
If you need anything, the wonderful office staff of Christine Piontek, Donna Holdmeyer, Cindy Philipp and our great volunteers are ready to assist you. If you can conduct your business by phone, all the better. If you need to go in, please abide by the instructions on the front door. For ministerial needs, our Deacons can assist. If you have a Sacramental need and a priest is required, we will do our best to arrange for that. I’m available by phone or email should there be something with which I can help you.
Take care. Stay safe and healthy. Wash your hands, watch your distance from others, and wear those masks so we can keep each other as safe as possible.
Until we see each other again, know of my prayers and those of Fr. Tony for you. And say one for us. God bless you. Have a great weekend.
In Christ,
Fr. Mike Boehm
