For some this is a message of hope and peace, and maybe for others, it is message that might be difficult to understand during the coronavirus pandemic. This Easter Sunday, the Lord brings us hope, because no matter what we face in the world, there is something to anticipate later in our lives. I know that we wish it would be sooner, like right now, but that is not the case.
The fact that more people are staying home, there tends to be more contact within the family and togetherness. Normally in this type of situation, we are willing to deal with it for a short time. My thought is that patience is our ability to deal with a person or situation for a certain length of time. Whenever that time expires for us, we seem to lose it. It is only through the Lord and faith in God in which we are able to expand our limits of patience beyond what we normally are able to do by ourselves. God provides limitless patience and endurance. We are the only ones who limits God’s possibilities in our lives. Live in the limitless of God’s love and compassion. HAPPY EASTER once again!
As I write this bulletin on Monday, March 30, the directive is still in effect for suspending of the celebration of public Masses until further notice.
The Deacon Diaper Drive will continue indefinitely as the need for diapers at this time are greatly needed. You may drop them off in one of the two trash type containers under the priests’ carport on Second St. and another one located inside the east side church doors.
