I hope everyone is enjoying the springtime weather and staying healthy physically, mentally, and spiritually. I think many of us are just now coming to terms with how different Holy Week will look this year. Oftentimes, it meant for many of us lots of Church, lots of family, and lots of food! Yet this year, plans have been changed and although we know it is what is best for our communities, it is still a tough truth to swallow.
But there is also the truth that
in all things is an invitation into God’s Love. Maybe our invitation is to take this Holy Week and make it personal in ways we haven’t been able to in the past. Maybe it is to live it liturgically in our homes, not just in our churches. Maybe the invitation is to abide and breathe in the Lord’s presence, not stress over the Easter brunch that must be made. Or maybe the Lord is asking us to seek Him first and to join Him in His Passion this week, the way He is always present in ours. There are a lot of possibilities the Lord is inviting us into this Holy Week. I hope the resources provided below help you to live Holy Week in a new way this year at home, and potentially create traditions for years to come!
