All men are invited to attend a new event being hosted every third Thursday at the Knights of Columbus hall. Each evening will involve a presentation on some topic related to faith, and an opportunity for fellowship, discussion and Thursday night football afterwards. Frankly, it can be challenging to even mention matters of faith in our society, and we hope that this group provides an opportunity for good Catholic fraternity for the men of our community. We hope to see you there!
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Tony Ritter
Join us for an evening of fellowship on Thursday, November 21st at 6:30PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
Fr. James Mason will be sharing his wisdom with the Men for Christ. Prior to entering the seminary, Fr. Mason worked as a prosecutor in Minneapolis and as Director of Catholic Charities, legal counsel and lobbyist for the Diocese of Sioux Falls. Fr. Mason served as Director of Spiritual Formation and Dean of Students. Since his ordination in 2001, Fr. Mason has served as Medical-Moral Adviser, Vice Chancellor, Director of Vocations, Director of Broom Tree Retreat Center, and a parish pastor.
“We have to be men of hope. There constantly are things that move us to despair. We need to be a light for people to remember that no matter how dark it seems, Jesus has won the victory.” -- Fr. Mason
