Pastor's Notes - 01/05/2020

This week we start a new year and begin a new decade.  Whether it be a new decade or new year, each day is a gift from the Lord.  We must treasure each day that the Lord gives us and be thankful to the Lord, for each new day is another opportunity for us to know the Lord more and to love our family deeper.
 
Do you have any spiritual goals which you will hope to work on in 2020?  I know the one thing which I will work on is personal prayer and more quiet time for prayer.  As they say, if you do not have any goals, then which direction will you be headed?

An update on the air conditioning project.  They will be starting to work on the middle floor and the lower level of the school this semester.  The gym will begin at a later date.  The cost of the middle floor and lower level will be $218, 000.  Currently, we have close to that amount through our fund raising.  We will still have the gym to do and the estimate for that was around $50,000.   Currently, we do not have pledges or donations for this amount.  The good news, from the original plan, is to have the installation completed by June 30, 2020.  Thanks for all your sacrifices and donations to make this happen.
