What does it mean that we have a Catholic grade school? It is not a private school, but a school whose focus is on instructing the students about the Catholic faith and giving them tools to live out their Catholic faith. Every year parents sign a witness statement, which reminds them to participate regularly in the Sunday Eucharist. The Catholic Church defines regularly as every weekend plus the five Holy Days of Obligation.
We could not provide a Catholic school without the financial and physical support of the parishioners. I want to thank you, the parishioners, for your generosity of time, talent and treasure to support the parish and our school.
I would also like to recognize our PSR program, which provides Catholic formation and education to those students who do not attend Catholic grade school, but whose parents desire the assistance in raising their children Catholic. We support this program so there is no financial burden on any family to able to receive Catholic education for their children.
