Pastor's Notes - 02/02/20

Did you know that our parish belongs to the Eastern Central Missouri Right to Life?  There is an article about this group in this weekend’s bulletin.  Twice a year I have decided to join their demonstration for life.  It is a quiet, prayerful time.  The first event that I attend is on the first Sunday in October on Hwy 100 with a sign for prolife and the other is in January at the corner of Jefferson and Fifth Streets holding a candle.  Both are very moving experiences.  Sometimes people honk their horns in agreement.  Sometimes you will  receive a negative response, but most of the time it is positive. 

Maybe you are the person who writes letters or sends postcards promoting Pro Life.  Maybe you pray about it.  Maybe you just think about it.  Whatever you do, it  is important to continue to promote Pro Life.
