Today is Divine Mercy Sunday. We are very blessed with a group of parishioners who do so much to promote Divine Mercy.
First of all, I have been always impressed by the Divine Mercy Service which has been held in our church every year. It has been well done and very prayerful. Secondly, a group of parishioners have met every Wednesday after the 7 a.m. Mass to come together with continued prayer and formation. They are a very strong faith group, and are always open to new members (participants). Thirdly, you probably have seen or read about the group of four men who make the Divine Mercy signs, not only for the people of Washington or Franklin County, but also for the entire USA. They are a very devoted and dedicated group of men for this mission of making the mercy of Jesus known. Let us thank the Lord for His blessing upon our parish because of this great ministry.
If you see this bulletin early on Sunday morning or before Sunday, we will be having our drive-thru confessions again today, for Divine Mercy, from 10 a.m. to noon in front of the grade school and on the back parking lot of the middle school building.
As you probably are aware, there is an extension of the suspension of public Masses until April 30. I am sorry about the news, but that is what we have to live with.
The Deacon Diaper Drive continues. You may drop them off in one of the two containers under the priests’ carport on Second St. There is also another container located inside the east side church doors.
