Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers today! Where would we be without our mothers? It is always so nice to appreciate mothers. These days mothers may have taken on other roles as educators. Our grade school students have finished their year except for those who still need to get some assignments to finish their work and complete their grade to start next year.
I heard from so many parents including my own nieces about their joy that the school year will be finishing. There has been so much more stress put on our families this year. People who are still working and others trying to get a job, and then they are placed into the situation of educating their children. The more children a family has the more is required of them. People have been trying to find time to manage all this and then to maintain a spiritual and prayer life. As we prayer for our mothers, let also say a prayer for all our families.
As you look at our bulletin, you see there is an opening for Business Manager. Jennifer Hill has been our Business Manager for almost 5 years. She has decided to take a position elsewhere. Jennifer has done a great job like all her predecessors. She has been very dedicated to the position especially with her interest as a parishioner beside an employee. I will surely miss her and I also have relied on her for our financial decisions. May God bless her for her minister here and may the Lord guide her in the future.
We continue to livestream our Masses on Facebook and have it also on the parish website:
borgiaparish.org.
Thanks for all your generosity to the parish at this time. Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us.
