As Governor Parson has opened up the state, we in the Archdiocese are not as open. This is especially true when you come inside church. Outside activities are much more open because of the fresh air and open space, but when we are inside, then it is more confining. Distancing is still the rule because contact is so much more of a possibility. Just a reminder that if you have a cough or are sneezing a lot, please do not come to church. You may know that it is allergies but not everyone else does, and they will question why you are here. Let us continue to pray for a vaccine for this epidemic.
July begins this week, which means that it is the middle of the summer! Next month, of course, is August and school is scheduled to open up on Wednesday, August 19. Over the summer, we had some changes in our school and office staff. I believe that we have informed you of those changes. In the future you will also see some changes in parish council and school board members as parishioners complete their terms and new people join these important committees. We have been fortunate that we have parishioners willing to do that.
Thanks for all you do for the parish and for us priests.
