Recently, I drove through the Jefferson City area and was reminded that it was recently hit by a tornado this year. This weekend, we have a second collection for the victims of the hurricane Dorian. We have seen the devastation. People’s lives were changed. I believe the area where Puerto Rico was hit, is still not back to total normalcy for their people.
As we remembered 9/11 the other day, I am reminded how people stood in line at grocery stores and gas stations because of the fear of what might develop. We get used to our way of life, but then there are times when it gets disrupted. Maybe it is a trip to the hospital? Maybe it is a fall and we break something? Maybe it is a sudden loss of someone in our life? Like the kids were taught at Vacation Bible School, God is always there for us.
