Pastor's Notes - 09/29/2019

     Thanks to all the individuals, families and businesses who supported the golf tournament last weekend, and the prayers for no rain.  It was a great success!  A great time was had by all!

     We are doing well with our drive for finishing the air conditioning project in the grade school.  Remember, the building was built in two stages, 1934 and 1954.  So far, we have $130,000 in gifts and pledges.  I will let you know the final tally on the tournament when I get the numbers.  We are committed to doing the project this school year.  I know this is not the best time of the year for people to make a commitment, but we do have till June 30, 2020 to hopefully raise the entire amount that is needed.  Thanks again for all your generosity.

     For your information again.  Some people recently received a text message that was supposedly from me, asking for gift cards or money.  Please delete these!   I would never do that.  I am sorry if you did get an email or text from me asking for any type of compensation.

     I will be leaving on Sunday afternoon and return on Friday of this week.  I have my annual trip to Florida to check out the golf courses.  You are in good hands with Fr. Tony and Fr. Mike.
