     Thanks to those of you who expressed vocally, sent a note or other ways, to show your appreciation for us (Fr. Mike, Fr. Tony and myself).  Last Sunday was "Priest Appreciation Day."  Thanks to you, as parishioners and Catholics, who express your gratitude to us.  We are very appreciative of your support and prayers.

     I received a check from the Go Fund Charity Golf Tournament of $16,857.63.  This will bring the Father Joe’s Cool Club to about $160,000.  Thanks to all who supported and worked the tournament and to those parishioners who have contributed to the Father Joe’s Cool Club.  I am very grateful for your generosity and kindness.

     You will notice that this year we have decided to have stewardship month not in September, but in November.  We will have a witness speaker this weekend.  Next weekend we will have the festival of ministries, which exhibits our parish groups and ministries. The weekend of Nov. 16-17, I will preach at all the Masses about stewardship.  Remember, Stewardship is more than about the collection.  It is about parish involvement and giving back to the Lord.
