Pastor's Notes - 12/23/2018

     Today is the fourth Sunday of Advent, and really, almost Christmas.  We will be offering confessions Monday morning, December 24 after the 7 am mass.  This is the last official time to receive the sacrament of forgiveness before Christmas.

     How has your Advent been?  I have used Formed.org and Matthew Kelly’s daily videos to help me pause and think about this Advent season.  The Church celebrates Christmas Day with an octave, meaning. that we will have the Gloria every day at Mass.  The Christmas Season for the Church concludes with the Baptism of Jesus on January 13.

     I want to thank all of you who have sent cards, made goodies or any other type of gifts which you have given us.  Fr Buehler, Fr. Kevin and myself, are most grateful for your generosity and support. 

     We, along with the blessings of our three deacons:  Gilbert, Leon and Dennis, send best wishes for you and your family this Christmas Season.
