PSR Families Enjoy Family Catechesis Event

This week's PSR evening began with a family Lenten Trivia.  Afterward, the children  went to their classrooms to receive lessons that they will complete with their parents during the month of March instead of coming to weekly classes.

While the children were in class Mrs. Gulledge talked with parents about how to make this Lenten Season a little more meaningful for them and their children.

When the children returned, they made Birthday Boxes for the food pantry with items they donated. Every birthday box contains a cake mix, container of icing, candles and other birthday items to help a family create a little something special for a family member celebrating a birthday. These will be given to clients at the food pantry who will have a family member celebrating an upcoming birthday in their household.

This special family evening concluded as we began with prayer led by Fr. Joe.
