Weekly Message - 05/21/2017

As we celebrated Mother’s Day last weekend, we were reminded of how grateful we are for our mothers and others who nurture us in life.  Fr. Freddy, Fr. Kevin and I acknowledge how important you are to us.  It is true that we are called by ordination to be spiritual fathers to you and lead you by word and example to the kingdom of God.  But you are so important to us in our growth and development, too.  I thank you for your faith and the way you nourish our faith by your examples and dedication to our parish and to the Church.  Let us always pray for one another.

During this graduation season, let us pray for all our graduates.  Some graduates will go on to further academic learning and others will go on to other learning experiences, but not always in a school setting.  As you all know, we never stop learning in our lives.  God has given us so much to work with, and He expects us to use and develop these talents.
