Congratulations to Deacon Leon who celebrated his 21st anniversary of
Ordination to the Diaconate this past Thursday. Thanks Deacon Leon for your service to our parish all these years. We pray for your continued health and well-being.
 
Happy Father’s Day to all our fathers, grandfathers, godfathers and adopted fathers! Jesus speaks a lot about His Father and our Father in heaven. There always seem to be a connectedness between our father on earth and our heavenly Father. Let us pray for our fathers and their blessing to us.
 
Liturgically, we celebrate the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ this weekend. We believe that we have the very presence of Jesus with us. As we receive Holy Communion, let us remember we are tabernacles which Jesus lives in each day. I also believe most of us, notice I am including myself, do not avail ourselves of the grace and power of Jesus within us. Thank you, Jesus for the gift of your presence in our lives.
