This week, we as a country, celebrate Veterans Day. I have been impressed the last few years with the Soldier’s White Table in our school building. It is also called a Missing Man Table. It is way to remember the soldiers who have not returned from their service to our country.
This year the faculty has added a display for Veterans Day of memorabilia from family members who have served our country. It is by the elevator just outside the gym. It is a time for remembering those who sacrificed so much for what we have and what we enjoy in our lives. We seriously take so much for granted in our lives.
I know that there is a lot of unrest in our country with lots of protests going on and yet we have such freedom. This month we also celebrate Thanksgiving. So it truly a month for us to remember our blessings and to be thankful for what we have and enjoy.
