It’s been delightful to fill in for Fr. Mike this week while he is in the Holy Land. He and the crew will be returning late on Tuesday. Please say a prayer that their travels home are smooth and that they all arrive back safe and sound. I want to say a huge thank you to Dcn. Dennis and Dcn. Tim who helped out extra this week and to all of our parishioners for checking in on me, cooking me food, and helping things run so smoothly. After being spoiled this week, maybe Fr. Mike should leave on pilgrimages more often!
Looking ahead to this week: the Feast of All Saints is a holy day of obligation and it falls on Tuesday. We will have three Masses that day: 7:00 a.m., 12:00 noon, and 6:30 p.m., all on Nov. 1st.
On Nov. 2nd we will celebrate All Souls Day. On that day we will have an additional Mass at 6:30 p.m. to give us a chance to remember and pray for those who have died during this past year. It’s always a nice opportunity to pray and to support one another. All are welcome.
