Thank you for your prayers for me while I was “down and out” with Covid. I’m glad to be on this side of it. As always, I appreciate your support and prayers.
Due to the concerns with the spread of Covid, we have put on hold our Trivia Night and Catholic Schools Week Open House. We are hoping to have both of these events later this spring. Covid has caused much disruption, pain, frustration, and even grief, but it will not destroy who we are as the Borgia Family. Please continue to take care of yourselves and others as we make it through this together.
Now I would like to point out two important letters for you to read in the bulletin or here on our website. One is from Archbishop Rozanski and the other is from Fr. Chris Martin, Vicar for Strategic Planning. Both letters have to do with the important comprehensive strategic planning effort (“All Things New”) in the Archdiocese that was announced this past week. Please read them carefully.
Each of us will be invited to participate in the All Things New process, so please avail yourselves of any opportunities to do so. This process will be better with the more people who let their voices be heard. To help coordinate things on our Parish’s end, I am grateful to Dan Sullentrup, Danielle Unnerstall, Ginger Groff-Brinker, Ellen Clark, Steve Ruether, Les Logan and Joe Fischer who accepted my invitation to serve as our Key Parish Leaders during this process.
As Archbishop Rozanski and Fr. Martin write in their letters, let’s remember to pray for this process. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide Archbishop Rozanski and the Archdiocese of St. Louis during this important time in our history. More information is available through the All Things New website which can be found at
www.AllThingsNew.ArchSTL.org. Much more to come on this, so please stay tuned.
