Good Friday Holy Land Collection - April 19

 
     On Good Friday, April 19, 2019, the annual collection for the Holy Land will be taken up in parishes throughout the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

     The Gospel message of compassion confirms the need for the Good Friday collection in support of our brothers and sisters in the Holy Land. We must recognize how much the generous concern of Catholics around the world has already accomplished in this tumultuous area of the world.

     Our financial assistance supports the Holy Places but also social and charitable activities, educational and scientific activities, and pastoral activities. In additional, the collection supports liturgical, ecumenical and communications programs.  It is important that we assist in providing care for the Christians living in the Holy Land.
