Anyone who wants to volunteer or work with children or vulnerable adults within our parish or grade school must be in compliance with the Protecting God’s Children program.
This includes taking a Workshop, registering at
www.preventandprotectstl.org, signing up for a background check, signing the code of conduct and watching two videos online.
This includes employees, volunteers, sports coaches, assistant coaches, referees, scout leaders, those that volunteer at school with classrooms, library, playground, cafeteria, hall monitors, etc., children’s liturgy, summer camps, vacations bible school, youth groups, parish volunteers involved in maintenance, quilting, food pantry, round table, divine mercy, wedding coordinators, home visits, communion calls, etc.
For those without computer access you must still attend a workshop, but you can stop in at the parish office to pick up a packet of paper to fill out. Please pass this along to any family members, grandparents, etc. that might need this information and not have access to it. If they are in compliance at another parish or school and want to volunteer or work at St. Francis Borgia Parish or Grade School, please have them contact Ann Kopp for instructions to become compliant at our parish or school also.
If you need help, contact Ann Kopp at
[email protected] or by phone at 636-390-3861. Attendance at the upcoming workshop is limited to ensure social distancing.
