Pastor's Notes - 03/15/2020

     Fr. Tony and I, along with Fr. Jim Theby of OLL, are in the process of hiring a high school youth minister.  Keep us in your prayers as we complete our search.  Whether our high school students attend SFBRHS or Washington, they are a part of our parish and we are trying to foster their spiritual lives and relationships to Jesus and the Catholic Church, before they go away to college.

     Fr. Tony and Delaney Brewer have a group of teens that meet every Monday evening. I, as well as they, want more.  We want to have someone dedicated just to our youth.  A number of years ago, we had something similar to this, but it does not exist today.  SFB and OLL would share the cost of a youth minister and together we would work out the other details.

     I have been asked, “Wouldn’t this be Delaney’s responsibility?”  No, her responsibility is the religious formation of our preschool and elementary students in the grade school and PSR.  She works with the priests and lay staff of the school and PSR.  Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
