Pastor's Notes - 07/22/2018

For the last couple of weeks during announcements at Mass there has been a request for  co-chair persons for the Sausage Dinner and Fall Festival. Many people have either done these positions or are of the age that they feel that they can no longer take on a responsibility like that. The scripture of last weekend mentioned a lot about being chosen. I believe that God is calling someone to answer that call, but they have not heard the call or do not want to answer that call.

Please include on your prayer list a prayer that God will let those people in our parish whom He is calling feel that call. It would be a sad event if we do not have a Sausage Dinner for our parish to gather and work together to continue to build our community. In the same sense, if we do not get co-chairs to help this year at the Fall Festival then next year we will have the same situation.
