As school will begin this week, I wanted to let you know of changes with the schedule. This year, I want the school students to experience adoration as part of their religious education and formation.
Thus, when school is in session there will be Mass at 8 a.m. on Tuesday mornings. Confessions will be heard on Tuesday morning after the 7 a.m. Mass. Adoration will not start until the end of the school’s 8 a.m. Mass. Thus at the end of the 7 a.m. Mass will be the prayers to Our Mother of Perpetual Help and St. Anthony, then the priest will proceed to the back of the church for confessions. Confession may continue during the school’s 8 a.m. Mass. I want to expand our students experience and understanding of the Eucharist, the Body and Blood of Jesus.
School will continue to have their class Masses and scripture for the younger students in the school chapel, but on Thursdays this year.
Thanks for all your support for the parish because a significant amount of our donations and fund raising goes to support the school and its budget. Everyone is encouraged to share according to their blessings. God is a generous God to us. I praise and thank Him daily.
