Archbishop Carlson has extended the suspension of all public Masses—as well as his dispensation of Catholics’ obligation to attend Sunday Mass in the Archdiocese of St. Louis—
through April 30, 2020.
His decision follows recommendations from health and government officials and is aligned with government prohibition of gatherings of more than 10 people. Pending further updates on the spread of COVID-19, parishes within the Archdiocese of St. Louis will remain open for personal prayer and confessions. We ask that parishioners follow the social distancing guidelines shared by health officials.
I have been very impressed how you have stepped up to contribute to the support of the parish during this quarantined time, whether it's using online giving, drop-off or mailing your contributions. It is essential to the operation of our parish and school. Thank you for your continued generosity during this difficult time.
The special collection for retired priests usually takes place during Holy Week. With the suspension of public Masses though, we won't be able to hold a special collection in-person on Easter Sunday as originally planned. However, retired priests still need our support. Donations can be made online at
archstl.org/retiredpriests, or electronic giving or via drop-off or mail to parish office. Your generosity is deeply appreciated.
