Well we are down to the final week to prepare ourselves for the feast of Easter. That means today is Palm Sunday weekend. I enjoy seeing all the religious images that our talented parishioners make with their palms. I know we ask for your old palm for Ash Wednesday, but so many people bring them now.
Congratulations to our First Communicants and their families who received their First Holy Communion on Saturday morning. It reminds us all how special the Body and Blood of Jesus is and how privileged we are to receive His very presence in our lives. I really do believe that most of us do not really use the full potential of Jesus in our lives. We take it for granted or that we do not want to bother the Lord too much!
If you really want to come and be part of a very special night, then come this Holy Saturday to the Easter Vigil Mass. We have infants, children and adults being baptized. We have Confirmation being received and we have First Holy Communion being made. It will be truly a night to remember and to celebrate. Make every effort to join us on Holy Saturday night.
