Well, here we are celebrating Christmas Eve and Christmas!!! I realize that this Saturday night or Sunday morning that we are celebrating the Fourth Sunday of Advent, but Christmas Eve is either tomorrow evening or tonight depending what day this is being read. We did get the short end by having Christmas fall on a Monday, but we are not in control as much as we want to be.
Have a very Blessed Christmas!!! Christmas is about being blessed by God and receiving God’s Son, Jesus, into the world. The world needs Jesus more than ever. Speaking for myself, I know that I need the Lord continually in my life. I hope that you do, too. I think about the gifts of the Christ-Child… peace, joy, harmony and good will. I pray that we are able to incorporate these virtues into our daily lives so that the world we live in can be a better place.
May you and your loved ones have safe journey during this Christmas season. Remember to thank the Lord every day for the blessing of everyone in your life.
Merry Christmas from all of us at the rectory - Fr. Buehler, Fr. Kevin and myself.
Thanks for all you do!!
