I was employed by McDonnell Douglas for 34 years. I retired in 1996 and was ordained a deacon that same year. I have been involved with the RCIA process for 30 years and thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to help others learn more about our faith.
I have also been involved with a number of evangelization activities throughout the years primarily consisting of some form of bible studies. I do normal deacon duties such as assisting at Mass, Communion services at the nursing homes, bringing Communion to the homebound, baptizing infants and children and leading various forms of devotional prayers. I have ministered the Sacrament of Matrimony on occasion.
And most importantly, I have a wonderful, supportive wife who tries her best to get me to my appointments on time.
