Kyra has worked with students in Parish School of Religion since 1998. Having worked with a diverse culture of students in St. Louis County, she found beauty in how families from around the world celebrate their Catholic faith. Through their many traditions she found a new appreciation for the Catholic faith around the world.
In coming to St. Francis Borgia, she brings many years of experiences that allow her the opportunity to help make the faith come alive for the PSR and the full-time school students in a variety of ways that include sacrament preparations, class retreats and grade level religion curriculum. In other areas of the parish, she has created a high school faith sharing group called C.R.E.W. and in the summer, provides a week of Vacation Bible School.
Growing up in the small neighborhood of St. Ann in St. Louis County, predominately filled with Catholic families, she found her foundation for the faith in the parish of St. Kevin. Married to the young man that was her neighbor growing up, they raised 4 children in the same community. Now with their children grown and building families of their own, Kyra and her husband find themselves appreciating all the ways they have been blessed.
